A tractor trailer crash this morning is being investigated by police. The big rig was transporting paper and overturned and caught fire in Newark, New Jersey.
There was no early news on what caused the crash or how many or how serious the injuries were.
The vehicle was badly damaged, and burnt debris was thrown across the ramp, according to a video from NewsCopter 7.
As police investigated and employees tried to clear the wreckage and debris, the northbound truck lane exit to Newark Liberty Airport was shut down.
The accident also closed northbound access to the NJ Turnpike extension, making access to the Holland Tunnel impossible.
