Nashville Truck Accident Lawyer

Drivers who drive commercial vehicles face unique dangers. Tractor trailers can easily cause serious accidents because they are heavy and maneuverable.

Nashville truck accident lawyers know how complicated truck crash cases can be. If you have been injured in a truck accident, we can help you.

Our lawyers know that proving fault or negligence after truck accidents can be a complex and difficult process, as no two truck accidents are alike. Due to the complexity of these cases, we continually research and learn more about all major types of truck accidents to more effectively level the playing field between our attorneys and insurance companies.

As you seek compensation for your accident-related expenses, having a law firm that knows all aspects of the trucking industry, from state rules and regulations that govern it to the most common types of accidents in Tennessee, can be a considerable asset.

Federal motor carrier safety rules enforce strict rest, break, and sleep schedules for truck drivers. If they violate those guidelines, they can not only put themselves and others in serious danger of accidents, but also held responsible for any injuries or property damage caused by their negligence.

In trucking, blind spots are large enough to make it difficult or even impossible for drivers to see other vehicles. Blind spots are reduced, however, by adjusting mirrors and sitting in the truck cabin at the correct height and orientation to maximize the view of the road.

When truck drivers fail to use their mirrors or their seated position to get a clear view of the road in front of and behind their vehicles, they may strike other cars and SUVs, causing serious accidents.

Among tractor-trailers and semi-trucks, brakes are the most important safety feature. Trucks can weigh up to 80,000 pounds, so having braking systems that can slow down or stop their vehicle is important-especially when they are driving in heavy traffic or close to passenger vehicles.

In addition to trucking companies and truck owners, trucks must have well-maintained brakes at all times.

Additionally to federal regulations, Tennessee has strict regulations governing trucking industry in order to promote safety. Some of these regulations include everything like maximum truck size, required licensure for all drivers, and medical clearance from doctors for drivers to get behind the wheel of large trucks.

When trucking companies are involved in accidents, our attorneys work hard to ensure that all trucking firms play fair and abide by these rules.

It is often necessary for truck drivers to make wide turns to maneuver through tight intersections or streets. They may be forced to swing out into adjacent lanes of traffic to complete those turns safely.

However, truck drivers don’t perform proper care and caution when making these turns and strike nearby vehicles, causing serious injuries to drivers and passengers.

The size of semi-trucks and tractor-trailers is several times bigger than that of passenger vehicles like cars and SUVs, but the size of oversized trucks is even larger. Due to their huge size and weight, oversized trucks require extreme caution and driver training.

Trucking companies and truck drivers can cause serious accidents if they fail to observe and follow the safety standards for operating these massive vehicles.

Truck drivers or trucking companies have legal rights to compensate their injuries. You should consider hiring a Nashville truck accident lawyer to protect your rights under Tennessee law if you have been injured in a truck crash.

Due to their size and weight, trucker or commercial vehicle operator’s negligence may cause serious and catastrophic injuries. The negligence of semitruck drivers and trucking companies puts innocent people at risk. An experienced truck accident attorney is essential to helping you or your family members if you or a loved one has been injured by a large commercial truck.

The compensation you may receive after a truck accident may be greater than you imagine. Don’t let money go on the table.

The trucking company and the truck manufacturer may be liable for the accident based on the cause of the accident. We know how to maximize compensation so that you have the resources you need now and in the future.

It is a term used to describe the compensation a victim can get following an accident. An individual who is hurt by a truck accident can pursue several damages:

Medical Expenses: are the cost of emergency room visits and treatment, doctor’s care, physical therapy, and any other treatment needed either immediately following the collision or at least a year after the accident.

Property Damage Expenses: for damage caused to properties such as vehicles, homes, or other property, including the cost of repair and the loss of value.

Pain and Suffering: A claim may recover the lost income and earning capacity from missed work or reduced ability to work to full capacity.

Wrongful Death: If there was a tragic death, the person’s family may have access to compensation for this loss and the loss of income over the lifetime.

These damages may vary depending on the facts of the case and how well the victim or their lawyer advocated for its damages.

You may be eligible to obtain compensation for injuries caused by a trucking accident that was not your fault. These cases are complex and our team of Nashville truck accident lawyers has the proper knowledge and experience. Please reach out to our firm today to schedule your free case consultation.

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE

Nashville is the capital and most populous city of Tennessee, which is located in the United States. The city, which sits on the banks of the gorgeous Cumberland River, is the county seat of Davidson County. It is the 21st most populated city in the United States, and the third most populous in the Southeastern United States, according to the 2020 United States census.

The city was created in 1779 and was named for Francis Nash, a Continental Army leader during the American Revolutionary War. In the nineteenth century, the town grew as a result of its strategic location as a port on the Cumberland River and a railroad hub. Nashville seceded from Tennessee during the American Civil War, becoming the first Confederate state capitol to fall to Union troops in 1862. The city restored its position after the war and developed a manufacturing base.

Nashville has had a combined city-county government since 1963, with six minor municipalities divided into two tiers. The mayor is supported by a vice-mayor and a 40-member metropolitan council, with 35 members chosen from single-member districts and the remaining five elected at large. Nashville is home to the Tennessee Supreme Court’s courthouse for Middle Tennessee, one of the state’s three divisions, reflecting the city’s prominence in state government.

Nashville is known as “Music City” because it is a major center for the music industry, particularly country music. It also has a large number of colleges and universities, including Tennessee State University, Vanderbilt University, Belmont University, Fisk University, Trevecca Nazarene University, and Lipscomb University, and is sometimes referred to as the “Athens of the South” because of its educational institutions. Nashville is also a major hub for healthcare, publishing, banking, automotive, technology, and transportation. AllianceBernstein, Asurion, Bridgestone Americas, Captain D’s, Hospital Corporation of America, LifeWay Christian Resources, Logan’s Roadhouse, and Ryman Hospitality Properties are among the companies with headquarters in the city.
